Enhancements to Workflow Automation
Workflow automation is one of the great built-in features of LeadMaster – no plug-ins, no add-ons, no additional fees. Since the workflow automation was introduced there have been many enchancements to the workflow automation tools (LeadMaster announces easy-to-use wizard interface for automation).
Here’s another set of enhancments that is available to all users.
Each workflow process now includes a designation of what the workflow process applies to: New records, Existing records or New and existing records.
You have the choice of applying workflow to 1) new records 2) existing records or 3) both new & existing records.
There is a new workflow action – Add to Lead Nurturing Track. When a record is added to a lead nurturing track, either the primary contact or all contacts in the record can be added to the lead nurturing track.
Here’s an example of how you might use this. Suppose that you have a registration page for a webinar.
- Your first workflow action will be to immediately send the registrant an email confirming their registration and providing details of the webinar.
- Your second workflow action might be to assign the record to the appropriate sales rep.
- Your third workflow action would be to add a callback for the day after they register.
- Your fourth workflow would be to add them to a lead nurturing track.
