New Feature – Dynamic Filters for ‘Click Actions’ / Call Stats

Customers have been asking for the ability to save a search that reports actions during a time period like yesterday,  last week or last month and have it always report or search on activities during that time period without being tied to a specific date.

LeadMaster has had that feature for many of the fields – such as date entered, date assigned, date contacted, date updated last, date closed, call back date etc.

Now you also have this ability with the ‘Click Actions’ also known as the ‘Call Stats’.  These click actions are user-definable check boxes that allow you to do multiple actions with a single click of the mouse – for example suppose you called a prospect, got voice mail, left a message and sent a followup email.  This is a fairly typical scenario and is easy use a click action / call stat to do all of that for you with a single click of the mouse.  In addition it will record all of those actions in the sales reps comments and notes to remind you of your interaction with the customer.

Now you’ll be to see how many times you used that click action during any period of time – today, last week, last month etc.

The dynamic filters allow you to search for today, yesterday, last week, last month etc.  And once you’ve gotten your search results you can chart them and save the chart to the dashboard for easy reference.  Dynamic filtering from LeadMaster.

New LeadMaster Feature – Update Records

Have you ever needed to update a group of records?  Perhaps you’ve imported the latest batch of leads and forgot to assign a campaign to them or maybe they arrived without the Lead Source identified.  Whatever the reason now there is an easy way to update any number of records in the system – intuitively called – Update Records.  You have the option of updating one to ten fields associated with campaign, sales & lead progress.

To access this feature select the records you want to update – either one at a time or using the search engine.  Then select ‘Update Records’ from the options menu.  Make your update selections in the dialog and click submit.  That’s it.  You’ve completed the update.

New Feature – Multiple Round Robin Queues

Introducing multiple round robin queues in LeadMaster.  When new leads are distributed by Round Robin a single queue isn’t always enough.  We heard your request for multiple queues and it has just been rolled into production.

If you’ve been using Round Robin this will be an easy upgrade to implement.  You’ll use the same interface as before to set up the round robin queue.  Simply give the queue a name – for example Northeast Region Sales Reps and then click on a rep and then click the add button for each rep you want to put in the queue.

Here’s the interface for keeping track of all your round robin queues.  You can edit and/or delete the queues from here.  This is where you can specify that users must be logged in to be receive leads.  This is also where you specify whether it is the user’s choice to use the round robin queue, to always use the queue or never.

The multiple round robin queue feature is available from 1) adding new records 2) importing records and 3) workflow automation.  Using workflow automation with round robin is handy when leads are coming into LeadMaster via email, web sites, landing pages, http post etc.  When the leads arrive, as part of the workflow, text messages and email messages can be sent to let the sales rep know they’ve got a new lead.

New Feature – Global Email Templates

I think everyone would agree, email marketing is one of the most cost effective forms of marketing available today.

However, crafting a good professional looking email can be a challenge.  So LeadMaster has done the hard work for you.  We’ve created about a dozen email templates for you to use.  They’re available for you to customize in the Email Templates section under Global Email Templates.

The Global email templates are read only, to use them you’ll need to do the following:

1) Open the template by clicking edit and then click the ‘save as’ button to save a personal copy of the template.

2) To modify the text in the email simply delete the old text and enter new text.

3) If the email template has a graphic that you want to customize (for example adding a logo to the banner) you can copy & paste the banner into a graphic editor, modify it, save it and then upload the new graphic to your template using the upload image button in the email editor.

4) You’ll want to modify the link behind the buttons – to modify the link you’ll need to click the HTML button at the top of the email editor, find the HREF and modify it.

Russ King & Andy Brownell from LeadMaster will join SLMA Radio Talk Show host Will Crist for a liveley discussion of all things Lead Management on SLMA Radio on 8/12 at 8:30pm EST.

SLMA Radio is a 50 minute internet radio show which broadcasts live on OC Talk Radio from Orange County California at 5pm PDT.  The show is hosted by Will Crist and produced by Paul Roberts and James Obermayer.  The show features two sets of interviews for each broadcast.  LeadMaster will be on the second half of the show starting at 8:30pm EST / 5:30pm PST.  The first half of this show will feature Gary Slack, Chairman & Chief Experience officer of Slack Barshinger the BtoB agency.
