What’s the difference between the LeadMaster Basic Calendar and My Calendar?

My Calendar is designed to make it easier for you to organize your events and appointments. Here are a few features that are only available in the My Calendar:

  • You can view an entire month or focus on a specific date and time. You can also add Appts /Call Backs between dates.
  • My Calendar gives you more control to add your events. You can control how you add appointments/Call Backs & Link them to Records.
  • My Calendar allows you to manage your own calendar Filters by saving the filter for the displayed Appts/Call Backs in the calendar.
  • Calendar View displays the Appts/Call Backs as the Calendar Grid View and List View displays the Appt/Call Backs in the list.
  • Allows you to Print or Email the calendar.

Does the email sync only work one way to log in the history?

  • The sync does work in both directions.  In order to post a message from your Outlook to the LeadMaster system you will need to click the “Send & Log” button.  If you have done that and you still do not see it attached to the contact for that email please check the file cabinet on the home page, which is where the server puts an email if it can’t find a matching contact.

How can I resolve an error while installing the CRMtool Sync for Outlook?

  • Run the installer package again and select the Repair option, when it prompts to repair or remove, select repair.   Then launch Outlook and let it sync.  Then run the installer from http://www.leadmaster.com/LeadMaster-Support/LeadMaster-Downloads.asp instead of your local PC.  If you still have issues then please uninstall from your PC and do a clean install from the above location.

Why doesn’t Outlook (64 bit version) calendar sync my appointments?

LeadMaster F.A.Q – remove previous versions of the Add-ins

How can I remove previous versions of the Add-ins?

  • Here is the workaround for removing previous versions of the Add-ins.
  1. Copy the zip file to disk from the support page to your disk.
    1. http://www.leadmaster.com/LeadMaster-Support/64-bit-Outlook.asp
  2. Extract x64_uninstall_workaround.reg
  3. Right-click the .reg file and select Merge
  4. Windows 7 will raise a User Account Control prompt – answer Yes
  5. Then Registry Editor will pop up a warning about adding information to the registry – click Yes again
  6. Click OK to the confirmation dialog from Registry Editor
  • Once that’s done there will be two dummy entries in the registry that will convince the two install programs that Outlook is there so they can be uninstalled.  That’s it – there’s no need to remove the dummy registry entries because they won’t do anything.

When setting up Lead-Xpress users the result page does not display the same way as it does in the email notification page?

  • If the label set is not defined at the workgroup level the Lead-Xpress notification does not display correctly.  Please make sure that label set is defined for the workgroup and all Lead-Xpress users are using the same label set.
