New Feature – Merging Fields from Opportunities into Quote/Proposal Templates

LeadMaster has Opportunity Management as one of the basic functions in the system.  It includes storing, searching, emailing and reporting on opportunities.  LeadMaster also has a customizable Quote / Proposal system.  Now the two features have come together with the addition of merging data from opportunities into quotes and proposals.

Start with a Quote Template.  You can either use one of the pre-defined professional looking templates or create your own.

Next select the fields you want to add to your  quote / proposal.  In addition to all of the standard contact fields from the database you also have opportunity fields.

After you’ve finished with the design and merge the template is complete and ready to use.  Find the contact and you can create a PDF for printing or sending via email.

New Functionality – Additional Fields for Tracking Sales Opportunities

LeadMaster has added the following fields for opportunities:

  • 10 Text Fields
  • 10 Integer Fields
  • 10 Date Fields

These fields are initially disabled.  To use the new fields you’ll need access to Administration.  Click on Admin, then Customize Pages and then  Add / Edit Opportunity.  Click on the field you’d like to use, select either a custom label or the standard label, click Submit and the new label will show us when adding or editing opportunities.

New Feature – Importing Data to a LeadMaster Opportunity Custom Form

If you are moving opportunity data into LeadMaster you now have an endless list of fields to choose from.

LeadMaster has a new feature – the ability to import data to an opportunity custom form.  An opportunity custom form is just like any other custom form in that you can add whatever fields you want to the form.  It will be attached to any new / existing opportunities.

You can access this new feature when you are doing an opportunity load.  You’ll notice that your opportunity custom form fields are listed at the bottom of the list of system fields for Opportunities.

Just match up the fields from your spreadsheet with the system fields and the opportunity data flows right in.  You will need the appropriate administrative privileges to access this new feature.

New Feature – Tab Settings Maintained

LeadMaster allows you to decide which view you like best – everything on a single page or everything in tabs.  Naturally you’re able to turn individual sections and tabs off if you aren’t using them.  The tabs are available on the sales update page, edit profile page, view profile page, opportunities page, contacts page and quotes page.  When you select ‘view tabs’ it selects the tab view for all pages.  Many users requested that LeadMaster remember their preference permanently so the next time they login they see their preferred view.   I’m happy to announce that this request has been implemented and is immediately available for all users at no additional charge.
